Confident Dad's bespoke and personal service specialises in providing gay couples with practical and hands-on help and advice in caring for their newborn. Deciding to start a family as a gay couple is a huge and exciting step and in theory you have 9 months to prepare for the big day.

As the birth approaches a variety of feelings start to show themselves from joy and elation to apprehension and nervousness. You may start to think about the practicalities of caring for your newborn and although some of you might be familiar with aspects of it through looking after nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, for others it might all seem quite daunting.

This is where Confident Dad would like to step in.

We aim to relieve any uncertainties & anxieties you have about caring for your family.

The advantage of Confident Dad is that you can choose which part of our service best suits your needs and our meetings are held in an individual and discreet manner.

Before your baby arrives, we can come to your home at a convenient opportunity and go through the newborn baby essentials where we will give you help and advice in a very hands-on and practical 2 hour meeting.

Confident Dad's help and support does not end there.

We also offer guidance once your baby is so home so that the adjustment to family life is as seamless as it possibly can be.

We can tailor our service to meet your individual requirements which may range from 'setting a routine' to 'developing healthy sleep habits.’

We can also help you source your particular childcare requirements from maternity nurses, day and night nannies, to weaning specialists & sleep trainers.

We can offer assistance and recommendations when it comes to all the baby equipment you might purchase from setting up the nursery to clothing your baby.

We Allegra and Simone, aim to answer all of your questions using our years of childcare experience teamed with our knowledge as mothers.
